MAIN FUNCTIONS OF CHIEF LIBRARIANS OFFICE

  1. Plan, implement and monitor the administrative activities which include:

    a. development and implementation of strategic plans of the library
    b. providing the infrastructure and infostructure in line with the latest ICT technology.
    c. human resource management and administrative operations.
    d. organizational structure

  2. Plan and monitor the implementation of action plans to achieve the Key Performance Indicator (KPI).
  3. Manage and prepare reports/statistics for the purpose of auditing and improving the services/facilities provided by the Library.
  4. Manage and monitor maintenance works (building and infrastructure), acquisition and disposal of assets/inventory and providing a conducive environment for the users.
  5. Empower, enrich, preserve and disseminate the intellectual properties of the university to the users and the public.
  6. Plan, organize and control PSAS's financial procedures which include budgeting, procurement, payment, revenue generation and preparation of financial reports and information according to the current University's financial management procedures.
