UPM Data Bank was established as a result of a memorandum of understanding between the Department of Statistics and Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM).
A memorandum of understanding was made on 24 March 2016 covering the areas of cooperation in research and knowledge-sharing statistics.
University Management Committee has been delegated the responsibility of managing the micro data services to the Sultan Abdul Samad Library (PSAS).
Research Services Section, Division of Research and Information Services, PSAS was given responsibility for managing JP micro data services in UPM.
