Serdang, 1 April - Perpustakaan Sultan Abdul Samad (PSAS) has organized a briefing on the “Awareness and Cultivation of Conducive Public Sector Ecosystem Practices (EKSA) PSAS” with the aim of creating awareness and cultivating EKSA practices consistently among PSAS community.
The briefing session began with a welcoming notes from Ms. Haslina Abu Seman, Senior Deputy Chief Librarian Services, cum Deputy Process Lead Management Representative of PSAS. In her speech, she hoped that PSAS staff would be able to work together to make EKSA a practice and culture in making offices’ space clean and comfortable as well as contribute to better library services. The session continued with a sharing from Mrs. Shamriza Shari from the UPM Quality Assurance Center who is also the UPM EKSA Coordinator, who touched on various aspects related to the planning and direction of EKSA implementation in UPM. Among the scope of her explanation include the background of EKSA UPM, EKSA evaluation criteria, best practices and the results of creativity / innovation in the implementation of EKSA. The briefing which lasted for two and a half hours has dispelled a lot of confusion and provided guidance for the successful implementation of EKSA in PSAS.
The question and answer sessions and sharing of views from 94 participants who attended were able to provide an understanding of the implementation of EKSA in PSAS. Mrs. Shamriza in her briefing also showed confidence in PSAS in implementing EKSA continuing the success that was achieved during the 5S Practice.
